(1)Noise levels of aircraft shall be measured in accordance with the methods specified in Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
(2)Lateral noise-measurement reference point is the point on a line parallel to and 450 m from the runway centre line or extended runway centre line, where the noise level is a maximum during take-off.
(3)Approach noise measurement reference point is the point on the extended centre line of the runway 2,000 m from the threshold.
(4)Flyover noise measurement reference point is the point on the extended centre line of the runway and at a distance of 6,500 in from the starting point of take-off roll.
(5)W is the maximum take-off weight of the aircraft (in kilogram).
(6)A is 101, 104 or 106 according to a number of engines of aircraft equal to or less than 2, 3 or equal to or more than 4, respectively.
